History: Alaan grew up as an upper-class boy on Coruscant, his father was a commodities trader and his mother was a teacher. He led a quiet life on Coruscant going to school and learning the trading business from his father. While he and his father were traveling to the Outer Rim on a trading run, pirates attacked their ship and left Alaan's father dead. Alaan, held as a prisoner aboard their ship, managed to break out of his cell and kill two guards with a Vibroblade he hid on himself before being taken captive. Whether it was chance or fate, Alaan will never know, but mercenaries hired to destroy the pirate vessel, which had been wreaking havoc on the trade routes, attacked the ship he was being held captive on.

The mercenaries allowed Alaan to go with them aboard their ship where he later joined with the mercenary group. They trained him as a sniper and taught him close-range combat. His time with the mercenaries did not last long, however. Alaan was the only survivor after what was supposed to be a routine mission went horribly wrong. Afterwards, he made his way to Tatooine and finally on to Coruscant where he lives today, in his childhood home, a mercenary and an assassin for hire.
